Tova Friedman Wikipedia: Tova Friedman is the youngest Auschwitz survivor who was just six years old when she survived the horrifying holocaust.

Viewers are seen praising her bravery. She recently traveled to the UK to promote her book The Daughter of Auschwitz: My Story of Resilience, Survival, and Hope.

Her book is scheduled to make its first worldwide debut on September 6, 2022.

Tova Friedman is an American writer, filmmaker, sculptor, film producer, and cinematographer. Her artworks have been exhibited in several art galleries across the United States, Europe, Japan, and Israel.

She was just a young child amongst 5,000 other Jewish Children who lived in Tomashov for around a year before the great World War II.

Tova was one of the few who survived The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah. Between 1941 and 1945, Nazi Germany murdered some six million Jewish across the lands occupied in Europe.

The Nazis had 40 concentration and extermination camps where they killed Jewish people.  Auschwitz was one of those camps from which Tova successfully survived.

She shares that the code A27633 was tattooed on her arm when she first arrived at Auschwitz. She didn’t have any name when she was 5-6 years old and she was called by her inmate number.

While other survivors decided to remove their tattoos, she still has them on her arm.

The survivor Tova Friedman is currently 83 years old as she was born on September 10, 1938. She was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and currently holds American nationality.

She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. Similarly, she completed her MFA (Master of Fine Arts) at Goddard College in Vermont.

How Did Tova Survive The Auschwitz Holocaust?

Tova Friedman was just six years old when she survived the death camp Auschwitz. In January 1945, the Nazis started abandoning their camps while also killing all of the Jewish trapped.

Tova and her mother decided to play dead and hid among the corpses. They were amongst the few who managed to escape the camp.

After they got liberated by the Russians, they managed to go back to their home in Poland.

She shares her bravery which led to surviving the holocaust in her book titled The Daughter of Auschwitz. In addition, she also shares the horror she witnessed three and the memories which still haunt her.
