Jen Shah of ‘RHOSLC’ has been sentenced to 6.5 years in federal prison for a fraud scheme.

Jen Shah, a Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, admitted her involvement in a telemarketing scam that catered to those over 55.

Jen Shah was sentenced to 78 months in prison (6.5 years) for her role in a fraud scheme.

After pleading guilty to her role in the telemarketing conspiracy, she appeared in a New York court on Friday.

Sharrieff, Shah’s husband, and their sons, Sharrieff Jr., and Omar, were in the courtroom when the decision was made.

When given the opportunity to speak, Shah stated, according to Lee: “I apologize. Innocent people have been harmed as a result of my actions. I’d like to apologize by saying that I’m doing everything I can to earn the funds to pay restitution.”

According to Lee, Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert Sobelman called Shah’s crimes “brazen fraud” before she was sentenced. “Every cooperator told us, ‘Jen Shah is the boss.’ They all knew who she was,” Sobelman added.

Previously, according to Lee, Judge Stein informed Shah’s attorney Priya Chaudhry that her client “This conspiracy’s leader was. As a result, this works against you rather than for you.”
