Basnet was an avid football lover and wanted to pursue his career as a football player. However, things did not go as planned. And, the man had to think of something that would drive his interest the same way. Hence, he chose acting and has been excelling in his career ever since.
Besides this, singing was one of his biggest passion growing up. Nischal Basnet has been doing everything that proves his potential since he was a child despite a few failures here and there.
Education and Life before Acting
Nischal was very focused on his career as an actor since the day he decided to pursue his career in acting. He graduated from Oscar International College of Film Studies in Kathmandu, Nepal with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies. He also went to Australia to learn about 3D animation. However, he soon turned his mind to hospitality and became a chef for a short period of time.

Basnet fell in love and got engaged to his wife Swastima Khadka in 2015. The event was quite lowkey. And, there were many who got thrilled by the news. Besides this, Swastima is also an actress in Nepal. They were married soon after in a very private event that only included their close friends and relatives.
People have talked quite a lot about their age gap from the time they have been married. But, the couple really doesn’t seem to mind. And, this is one of the most outstanding things that fans adore about this couple.
The couple was given the title of the most ideal couple by the mayor of Lalitpur.
