Noah Schnapp, the actor who plays Will Byers on “Stranger Things,” revealed something on social media. And that he has more in common with his character than previously thought.
On Thursday, Schnapp posted a TikTok video with the caption, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know.'”
The actor also lip-syncs to voice-over audio in the video, which says, You know what it was never? That grave. It was never taken seriously. To be honest, I’ll never be that serious.
Schnapp captioned the post beneath the video, “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.”
Schnapp, whose character Will is a main character on “Stranger Things”. He confirmed that his character was gay in an interview with Variety this July. Will professes his love for Mike in the fourth season while pretending to speak from Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) point of view.
