As per the local media, The former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe was shot while delivering a speech at the Nara region campaign event on Friday. Furthermore, no vital signs were recorded as sources claim.
The PM was rushed into the hospital instantly after the attack. In addition, he could have gone into cardiac arrest, as the media suggests. He was unconscious while taken to the hospital.

The man who shot Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe is currently in custody and an investigation has already begun. As per Bloomberg, the suspect is revealed to be a male individual around in his 40s.
Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe was shot at a campaign event Friday, public broadcaster NHK reported, adding that he was showing no vital signs. At least two gunshots were heard on-site.

The name and identity of the suspect haven’t been disclosed yet. Similarly, his face is kept secret for now.
Abe was shot in the chest from behind and no vital signs were reported.

Updates On Shinzo Abe’s Health Condition
Shinzo Abe was rushed to the hospital by helicopter after an attempted assassination on Friday. Currently, he is in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest and initial reports showed no vital signs.
He collapsed on the ground after the shot to his chest from behind. Moreover, he was shot during his speech at a campaign event in the Nara region.
